On Sunday 9th June the SMART Prebend Centre will be hosting a family scavenger hunt to raise awareness and funds for the Bedford based homeless centre. The Prebend team would like to welcome as many people as possible from the local community and beyond to join the fun, family event.
The SMART Prebend Centre has received a record number of donations towards the annual Christmas Relief In Bedford (CRIB) appeal. Donations allowed the team to support 200 homeless people in Bedford throughout December. There is still time to give towards the campaign.
Bedford Castle Rotary Club have been showing their continued commitment to the SMART Prebend Centre by promoting and donating to the Christmas Relief In Bedford (CRIB) appeal.
The SMART Prebend Centre team launched the Christmas Relief In Bedford (CRIB) appeal at the beginning of December and they have already recieved £21,000 in donations!! CRIB is vital as the money raised during this appeal helps to fund the centre throughout the winter months, a time that is extremely challenging for homeless people and rough sleepers.
On Sunday 16th December 2018, Teresa Moxam (dressed as Father Christmas) completed a 5K run around Bedford park, with her dogs Poppy and Cooper. The ‘Santa run’ raised much needed money and awareness for the SMART Prebend Centre in Bedford.

On the 2nd November 2018 we welcomed 130 glamorous guests to the first annual SMART Prebend Centre dinner dance. Guests enjoyed canapés and reception drinks, soothing live jazz, a splendid three course meal, an entertaining auction, spectacular fireworks and a disco.
