AIM Awards Level 3 Certificate in Working with Substance Misuse and Complex Needs
The ‘AIM Awards Level 3 Certificate: Working with Substance Misuse and Complex Needs’ is primarily designed for professionals working in the care sector delivering services to people facing multiple and complex needs.
This qualification is unique to SMART. It was developed by practitioners for professionals, providing targeted and applied learning opportunities that are rooted within experience.
Covering a range of topics, including; domestic violence; sexual exploitation and substance misuse the qualification offers insightful training relevant to multiple disciplines.
Candidates should work or have experience within the care sector during the completion of the certificate, as it allows them to transfer their acquired skills, techniques and methods into practical experience through controlled and facilitated means.
In order to acquire the certificate, candidates must complete all nine of the compulsory units (see below). The content of these units is delivered over a series of tutor-guided training sessions, with an expectation of independent learning for the completion and submission of assessments.
