Help Bedford’s homeless this Christmas – CRIB 2018!

After an intensive session of stuffing envelopes and stamp sticking, we are ready to launch this years Christmas Relief In Bedford (CRIB) appeal.

CRIB is very important as it helps to keep the SMART Prebend Centre running during the winter months. The centre is open 365 days of the year offering vulnerable, homeless adults in Bedford hot food, clean clothing, access to medical care and practical support.

The centre costs over £250,000 per year to operate and is financed entirely though fundraising activities. With generous support and donations, the CRIB appeal raised over £35,000 in 2017. We hope to raise £50,000 this year so that we can offer even more support to Bedford’s homeless and rough sleepers.

Government statistics show that rough sleeping is on the rise, with Bedford having one of the highest rates of homelessness and rough sleeping in the UK. We need your help more than ever.

PLEASE HELP US by donating, so that we can provide support and compassion to Bedford’s homeless throughout the Christmas period and beyond! Thank you!
