The SMART Prebend Support Hub is a lifeline for people with nowhere else to turn.
Open all year round, it’s a warm, safe place where those experiencing homelessness, rough sleeping, or sudden hardship can find urgent and ongoing help. We provide free hot meals, showers, clean clothes, and compassionate, practical support on housing, health, debt, and more.
None of this is possible without the kindness of people like you, as we receive no government funding. Every warm meal, every light switched on, every conversation of hope is made possible through donations. As the cost of living rises, your support is more vital than ever.

Chocolate bars, biscuits, cereal bars, fruit pots, individual cereal boxes, sachets/pots of milk, sugar, coffee, fruit juice, cans of drink, crisps & crackers.
Boxer shorts (medium size especially), men’s trousers (32″ & 34″ waist), women’s clothes (size 6 to 8), jogging bottoms (medium), T-shirts (medium), socks, warm jackets, gloves, hats.
Deodorant sprays, sticks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower gel, shampoo, hand gel, tissues (individual packs), baby wipes, wet wipes, dry shampoo.
Other essentials: sleeping bags, new pillows, pillow cases, paper cups.
Please note: we are unable to accept duvets, baby’s items, meat, pre-cooked meals.
If you have a small donation that you can carry easily, please park in the paid car park at the end of Prebend Street.
If you have a larger donation, please contact the Hub and the team will coordinate your drop-off.
