Here you will find everything you need to get involved with fundraising for our fantastic charity. We really hope you will enjoy fundraising for us. From the people we help, and the people who help them, thank you, we truly appreciate your support.
Did you know that it costs just over £2,000,000 for us to fully provide our services? While we receive statutory funding from the Local Authorities to fund our accommodation services in Bedford and Milton Keynes, we receive no government funding at all for our Support Hub on Prebend Street. It’s much a needed resource for many people and the SMART fundraising team must raise £270,000 a year to keep it running. Please can you help us?

Wonderful Volunteers Needed!
SMART have been invited to carry out a supermarket collection on Wednesday 13th December (8.30-4.30) at Morrisons Supermarket on Ampthill Road in Bedford.
This will be LOTS of fun as it’s during the lead up to Christmas so there will be plenty of festive cheer (and sweets!)

Our preferred online sponsorship provider is Just Giving. You will find us on the website easily, just type into the charity search function SMART CJS, and we will appear.
If you are taking part in an event not being organised by us, or are planning an event of your own, we have several valuable resources for you to use that should make things a bit easier in our Fundraising Guide. This download includes an A-Z of fundraising ideas, a sponsorship form, suggestions on how to organise your event and how to bank the funds you have raised.
Corporate fundraising is very important to us at SMART as it enables us to continue building our reputation as a commendable charity partner, with the added benefit of reaching out further to educate the general public on who SMART are and what we do. For the corporates themselves this facilitates their committment to Corporate Social Responsibilities, and also results in some great PR for both parties!
SMART is very fortunate to have some wonderful support from local and national companies.
