Night Support Workers

Night Support Worker 44 hrs per week: 4 shifts of 11 hours
Salary: £7.85 ph Location: Bedford
Pension: After 3 months Annual leave: 27 days per annum + bank holidays
Other: Employee Assistance Programme 24/7
Temporary Contract October 2018 Until 31st March 2019
Post holders will work one of the following shift patterns:
- Shift 1: 8.30pm-7.30am Tuesday, Wednesday, Fri and Saturday night
- Shift 2: 8.30pm – 7.30m Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday night
This post will support an exciting expansion to the existing Nightshelter provision and be in addition to the Severe Weather Emergency Protocols (SWEP) already in place within Bedford Borough during the winter months. Opening hours will be every night from the 1st November 2018 through to the 31st March 2019. The SMART night provision will be open to service users between 9 pm-7 am.
Applicants need to be able to start in November 2018, completing 2 weeks’ day time induction prior to beginning night shifts in earnest in December.
