Deputy Manager Homeless Services – Milton Keynes

We are currently recruiting for a Deputy Manager to join the Milton Keynes homeless team.

Job role: Deputy Manager

Hours: 25hrs per week (including some evenings and weekends)

Salary: £28’094 pro rata

Location: Milton Keynes

Pension: After first 3 months

Annual leave: 27 days per annum + bank holidays pro rata

Other: Employee Assistance Programme 24/7

About the role

This post will have a specific focus on line managing the Milton Keynes outreach team. This is a fixed term post, with the post holder being employed initially until 31st March 2020.

The ideal candidate will need to be empathetic, passionate and willing to work flexibly. This key role will be responsible for ensuring the development and effective delivery of SMART’s services in Milton Keynes, in line with contractual obligations.

We are looking for an experienced practitioner / line manager, with a proven track record of delivering a high performance and quality services. Supporting the Service and Area Manager’s to deliver a high performing team to achieving both individual staff and service performance targets, with a commitment to build service user involvement.

Relationships with partners, stakeholders and service users are also crucial to the effective development of the organisation and the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of inter-personal skills.

Some evening and weekend work may be required, but working hours are flexible.
