According to a recent survey, 80 per cent of British people believe gardening had a positive impact on their mental health, and that the benefits were even better than hitting the gym!
The residents at Norman Russell House put this to the test by planting sunflowers- working together in the sunshine and fresh air. All enjoyed the activity and look forward to watching their plants grow and flourish.
It has created a nice space and has really brightened up a corner of the garden. The whole house will be sharing the responsibility of watering and looking after their plants.
