Quality & Improvement Lead
We are recruiting for a Quality & Improvement Lead to provide governance, quality and systems oversight for all SMART’s services.
Salary: c£40,000 – £42,000 (dependent on experience)
Location: Flexible – Oxford, Milton Keynes or Bedford (inc. some home working)
Contract: 12-month fixed term contract
Working Hours: 9am – 5pm (occasional weekend/out of hours working may be required)
Working with: Management Team, wider staff and Service Users
Others: Care Quality Commission, Local Authority Commissioners & others

About the role
The Quality & Compliance lead is a key role within SMART CJS as it makes its next investment in infrastructure and governance. This individual will provide governance, quality and systems oversight for all SMART’s services. In addition, they will support SMART to maintain best-practice delivery across all services (one regulated and two non-regulated services).
We are looking for someone with experience of off-the-shelf or other bespoke systems that can be used for quality management including incident reporting, compliments/complaints reporting, training recording etc. And with experience of simplifying and streamlining systems and processes for staff for easier adoption e.g. lodged within an intranet or staff dashboard. Someone with a deep understanding of the principles of quality and continuous improvement alongside how to make it a reality in practice, through the use of technology and culture change.
