Salary: £40,102.00 plus employee benefits

Location: Flexible – (up to 3 days p/w attendance at services & meetings required)

Pension: After 3 months

Annual leave: 27 days per annum + bank holidays

Background

SMART’S mission is to end homelessness – by preventing it.  It has come through a period of significant change and is anticipating further growth in homelessness and supported accommodation services in Bedford and Milton Keynes. The organisation ensures excellent quality and service delivery by having a keen focus on embedding a culture of continuous improvement. We do this by developing and maintaining consistent systems and approaches across the services we offer to those individuals affected by rough sleeping and homelessness. This is an exciting period of growth and an opportunity to lead on quality and performance during the implementation of new services and the development of existing ones.

Role Purpose

  • To design and implement effective quality assurance systems and processes across SMART services and support functions.
  • To drive a culture of continuous improvement and performance within the organisation, providing support and advice to staff and managers, promoting the delivery of high quality, safe and caring services.
  • To ensure all SMART policies and procedures are up to date and implemented.
  • To develop a quality and performance dashboard to enable regular review to take place and improvements identified.
