Many questions are being asked about homelessness and COVID-19 right now, the answers to which are not always obvious and often complex. It can be challenging to imagine how the virus has had such an impact on the homeless community and how quickly support services have had to respond to keep everyone safe.
Sadly, as the pandemic continues, our economy suffers, and there is a real prospect of an escalation of homelessness. Many of the key workers who we are relying on to see us through the crisis, are at risk of becoming homeless themselves.
